Oh yes. At long last. The new bike pics.

Glider Boxer (Dedacciai hydrofromed firelight alu frame with carbon chain- and seat-stays), Columbus Tusk Light carbon fork. Dura Ace 7900 groupset. Deda Zero 100 bars, stem and seatpost. Fizik Arione saddle. Chaz’s handbuilt Revolution racing wheels. Understated, classy, no-nonsense beast of a bike.

As is customary, I’ve given her a name. Gloria the Macklin Panther. Gloria as- according to my flatmate- she looks like a Gloria. Macklin Panther as Cyclefit are based on Macklin Street, Covent Garden and she reminds me of a panther. Quiet, unassuming, stealthy, padding softly through the jungle. But when she strikes you don’t really want to be nearby. ;-)

A Serotta Meivici AE frameset twinned with some carbon aero bars, PX 82/101mm wheels, Dura Ace 7900 group and a trusty Fizik Arione.

Lovingly nicknamed the ‘Black Mamba’ due to similarity of the nude carbon weave to a snake’s scales. Also, the black mamba is one of the fastest snakes in the world- and this bike certainly doesn’t disappoint. I love it. My favourite bike ever. And that’s saying something.
