Tom is 23 years old and races for Cyclefit domestically.
A graduate in Law and French Law from the University of Exeter, he has been the recipient of both a Sports Scholarship and a Vice Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship.
He writes sporadically for a number of international cycling media, and is an obsessive lover of coffee, red wine, making fresh pasta, playing the guitar (he’s been playing for 14 years now) and lots more besides. He is an unashamed bike pimp and would rather sell an organ than sell a bike.
Officially classified by the UCI as a C3 Paracyclist; he has fused bones in his feet and hands, almost-total fusion of his ankles, poor flexibility in all his limbs, low testosterone, Diabetes type 2, moderate hearing loss in both ears, and a rare genetic condition known as lipodystrophy which affects his metabolism and storage of body fat amongst other things.
He is currently juggling freelance Marketing and Brand consultancy and research with full-time(ish) training
